Beyond her imagination, the young girl feels
A feeling like no other.
What is this thing that makes her heart flutter?
It makes her wonder
She stays up at night
Thinking that the two of them are just right.
The boy might just be her shining light.
Looking at her white popcorn ceiling
Laying in bed, she can't go sleep.
She thinks, why is he so appealing?
Her heart starts sinking
Why does her heart sink?
She thinks
Is it love?
She tosses and turns in her bed
It's 3am.
Laying in bed, thinking about him for 5 hours now.
What is she going to do?
School is going to start soon.
She has a paper due.
Out of the blue.
She knows that her love is true.
Right on cue, the boy calls her too.
First she asks, who are you?
The boy says, I think I love you.
She knows, it's him.
She takes a few seconds.
To calm her heart down.
She thinks it sank to much,
It needs to be pumped up again.
She replies, I think I love you too.
